Mumbai: After doing an item song  ‘Chandigarh ki Star’ in ‘Bbuddah  Hoga Tera  Baap’ actress Raveena Tandon will be seen in a different avatar in her up-coming film ‘Alert’.

“Excited now about Alert, back to chiffon sarees!! The character I’m playing is very powerful, looking forward, different from BHTB,”  Raveena said on micro-blogging site twitter said.  the song. “In BHTB,

I was playing a loud madcap, over the top kinda woman, who overdresses…drama queen is Flamboyant, totally opposite of Hemaji’s role. But in ‘Alert’, its the opposite, an understated sophisticated powerful woman,” Raveena said.

Raveena’s comeback item song ‘Chandigarh Ki Star’ was quite a hit prior to the release of her film ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’, but lot of her fans were disappointed to find out that the song was just shot for promotional purposes and was not included in the film.

Depressed fans sent a lot of messages to Raveena and the director of the film Puri Jagannadh. It is then that Puri decided to include the song in the DVD of the movie that will be out in stores.
