New Delhi: India’s favourite lifestyle channel announced the launch of its new India-centric series, Oh My Gold (OMG!) hosted by actress and model Lisa Ray.

The five-part series will premiere on TLC on July 11 at 9 PM.

Rahul Johri, senior vice president for South Asia's Discovery Networks,  said, ''TLC is India’s favorite lifestyle channel and has pioneered multiple programming genres, the latest being jewelry.

In the show Lisa travels to Jaipur, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kochi and Chennai to uncover India’s ethnic jewellery designs and also to bring out the many aspects of Indian culture and people’s fascination for jewellery. Viewers will also spectacle lessons on the art of jewellery making.

Speaking at the launch of OMG, senior vice president and general manager of South Asia Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific Rahul Johri said that TLC has pioneered many programme genres-the latest being jewellery. With Oh My Gold! TLC will  continue to set standards by introducing new themes and formats to deliver high-quality entertainment, he added.
